Ya, i remember VW member posted a file on Delphi, dunno where to find it.
people talked about mutli skins on delphi a while ago. conclusion is, we need increase CT index( more vehicle item)..
note: a vehicle with its unique skin need a CT index. only increase CT index and redirect it to a new skin, you can have various-skinned vipers/f5s flying simultaneously in the campaign/TE. In default Korea campaign, only 2 basic fuselage skin?+ 4-6 tailarts for viper(so only two complete skins), one f5 for campaign. if we can enable dogfight skins available in campaign, we get five f5 skins(enough), and sixe viper skins(2 complete scheme from campaign, and 1 complete/thunderbird+ 3 half complete/red, yellow, blue).
surely RPG or Mac falconer can hack it at this moment, but simmers need a standard way to apply/switch these changing CTs.
so, i includes some nice viper aggressors by Basil for Dogfight. F5 part is about done. the layout and content of f4p will be:
1.1970 pack, lesson from jungle: USAF start training there, most a/c use SEA skins, red side use F5, various NVAF skins simulating mig21/17/19.
2.1980 pack, peak of cold war, USAF training for Central Europe or middle east hostiles, US a/c use european scheme, hostile F5 use warsa pack or middle east skins, simulating mig21/23. red viper(mig29/su27) with earlier hostile skins.
3.2000 pack, USAF uses latest skins, hostile F5(mig21-23), viper(mig29/su27), and mig29(west germany skin).
as for ground unit, will use desert camo set.
hope it could be done in days.
btw, a TopGUN skin pack sounds a good idea.
