Nevada crc error

Hi pilots.
Maybe i should have place this ? in nevada section, but there seems to be no traffic.

I tried to install the theater from http://www.geocities.com/nevalpha/Nevalpha034.zip, but while expanding winzig gives me a crc error on theater.l2, DL again, same error.

I´d really love to fly over nellis again, as i did in Falcon3. Pls advice :roll:

Don't know why it gives CRC error.

I suggest you bare with Nevada for short period of time until SP3 comes out. If nothing else I'll make upgrade for the existing Nevada beta to make it SP3 compatible.

But surely ComGP will be making nice new version for SP3 :)

hi guys,

I still keep checking this forum as often as I can, only that if I had free time i could finish up my theater.

This summer I will do things whenever I get vacation from my work and I have many ideas for the new 512x512 tiles.

If I had time I´d work more often in this, i dont know exactly why the crash, but i supposse it is ought to SP2 compability.
Snake Man, if you ever have time for making the SP3 compability Nevada, feel free to do it, although i think right now the theater is out of date with the new bunch of things that Falcon UT are bringing us, anyways, maybe with Cate it could be tiled in minutes.

Hey sorry for going off topic here but do you have some reference material / originals for those Vietnam rice paddy tiles which could be made to 256 or 512 resolution?

Thanks, should be no problem to update the Nevada installer to SP3.

Btw do you have some web server for hosting, if/when the installer is done for SP3 how about if I email you so we can get it to your server?

All in all we should use your existing files - just to update the installer and some of the files for SP3.

Other way of doing it is from GROUND UP by dem2terrain.

Can you (again) bring us up to date of the status of the tiling, tiles, campaign and well yeah thats about it?

And how about sending me the latest files?

Yeah, i still have those 128x128 ricepaddies stuff somewhere in my harddrive, Ive seen them some time ago, but they are that, 128x128 and they are a new kind of forrest for vnam, ricepaddies, new coasts and the whole collection of transitions for this tiles.
I maybe could make a script to resize and sharp them to 512x512

No, right now i dont have any web server, but im gonna get some space before summer for uploading my stuff.

Pretty much the same as always, ive been trying to make things but not seriously, I made a couple of buildings for las vegas in LodEditor and i was messing with Cate trying to tile all the theater easily.

Hello All. I'm new to this particular forum and have what may be considered a few stupid question. So bare with me.

Very interested in the Nevada theater. Where do I get this DL? I didn't see it at the DL page anywhere...I've pretty much only flow the default Korean and the 2002 theaters, but these new add-ons looks damn enticing.

Is it fairly solid with SP3 thus far, or are people getting CTDs or other problems? Please let me know where this one may be had and what you guys think of the new theaters, keeping in mind that they are indeed beta version right now.

There was only some old Nevada version available but I have sorted the files for SP3 compatibility (fixed some stuff etc) and compiled the installer.

The tiling is from ComGP and the texture.bin that I have is different from the original or something as for example roads don't work too well. It was simple two squadron campaign (just to see it works) and TE objectives set.

I usually don't save email records so if you guys want to have Nevada Theater highly alpha/beta test version... then just email me (again) and request it.

I've done quite some work for Nevada now like linking the objectives for ground unit movement, when its "done" I'll host it for everyone to download.
