Tested ODS alpha

Install went smooth

flying the midlle camaign went ok..I flew one OCA strike..and bombed the runway....no resistance at all..

Te_new.tac crashed on me so did instant.cam...yet I guess this is due the alpha status.. Image

however I wanted to give Vietnam a shot
hmmm...f4patch4 gave me this error as I unaplied ODS and aplied Vietnam:

Failed to apply patch Vietnam Theater -- File mismatch. D:\MicroProse\Falcon4\art\campaign\intel\strategy.scf does not match D:\MICROPROSE\FALCON4\F4Patch\vietnam\orig\strategy.scf or D:\MICROPROSE\FALCON4\F4Patch\vietnam\new\strategy.scf.

hmm something is wrong in one of the setups I dunno what as I still dont know shit about F4patch..lol

so I havent flown Vietnam yet..

Those are so small things, didnt want to bother with them yet. Campaign is the big fish.

Thanks I know whats wrong, I have two different set of f4p Orig/ dir files. goddamn dork as I mixed them up.

You can fix this by copying the strategy.scf from Vietnam f4p dir into the \art\campaign\intel\ dir (I think).

This is what I mean by problems for tutorial creating, such a small errors can cause everything to fail.

If you cant make it work, I'll re-check the files and put out small zip fix for you.

stategy.scf everywere.and there... Image
(I did everything, except what you said..stupid me)

request help.. Image

please send me a zip file with all stratigy.scf
on Vietnam..ODS and the origfalcon
(so three in total)
I'd be happy to recieve it.
