Just an idea: why not create a 3d object which is like a block of houses, and then populate the cities with those? Would be cool to fly over small houses, and could help with the sense of speed over cities...

Hi, i read this forum a lot, but first time poster 
Just an idea: why not create a 3d object which is like a block of houses, and then populate the cities with those? Would be cool to fly over small houses, and could help with the sense of speed over cities...

Indeed a bright idea.
Houses (many different ones) should even be easier to model than most other objects in F4 world.
Only drawback is the workload on our poor PCs, having to calculate lots of objects when closing a city.
So it would be good to have houses selectable (another entry in F4patch).
I figure some Lodders out here will begin to model their own home...

Well, id say house could be made as trees, so they would be configurable through F4Patch. After all, who would know that house is a tree?
