Reinstalled F4 (SP 3) now I can´t get theaters get insta

After a complete new instalation of F4 and updating to SP 3 I can´t get the theathers Desert Storm, Europe and Vietnam reinstalled. I had them all running before. Now when I try to install them a window opens up telling me "Desert Storm Theather not installed in the default F4 location. Select the location of the Falcon 4 SP installation. Do you want to select another folder?" Can anybody out there tell me where exactly those theathers need to be installed?

I ran into the same problem when I uninstalled F4 without uninstalling ODS first. The problem was that there were still registry entries for the ODS install, even though the files were wiped out by the uninstall. Sorry, I don't remember the exact procedure to remove the entries. I hope this is enough to at least point ya in the right direction

Thanks to both of you for helping me with this problem. I read the faq and followed the instructions and deleted all the old files and rebooted my machine. The theathers still won´t install - now what? Where else can old files hide?

Maybe a correct keyword for the search in regfiles could be given,
ODS, middle east theater, etcetc.

Yes - all.

ODS, middle east, Desert Storm, and variations of these. Heck, even Falcon4/Falcon4.0/etc. probably would be good to search on. Also CODEC - IIRC, several registry entries were in a folder under his name.

Just remember to only delete stuff that relates to the theater you're trying to get rid of. ALthough, its probably not a bad idea to completely uninstall and reinstall F4 occasionally.
