Can't find Tornado squadrons for selection

Hello guys. I have just added the Tornado cockpit and I chose the Desert Storm theater to fly the Tornado. However I couldn't find any Tornado squadrons but I remember very clearly that while I was flying the F-16 and F-15 I saw some of them. Could the cockpit have affected them or I cannot select them?

Hi Butcher,

I think you have to modify a file called validac.act in the /campaign/desstorm directory. The default file has the figures 91 at the beginning and you have to change that to read 8888. Search the forum 'cos I am sure there has been a post by maybe "Recce" about this before.

but how do you enable them for a tac eng? they work in the campaign but I cant find them in the list for a tac eng

Hi Alicatt,

'Fraid I don't know to get them in TEs. I have the same experience as you with them in campaigns also. There is a gentleman called Frederick Knudsen who is working on a Tornado pit complete with backseat. A beta is available for download - check on Frugals.

I guess its the campaign/<THEATER>/ dirs teplanes.lst file or something like that.

However I never even opened that file so I have no idea whats in it or what to modify to make Tornados show up on TE.
