Where all the jets coming from?

I am playing the ODS Campaign and a couple things. In the manual it says there wont be many jets, but thats cause its realistic. But my problem is I can't decrease the enemy number of jets cause everytime there jet # goes down, it goes right back up. So they are constatly sending jets at me. This also is happeneing with ground viehicles. When I kill them, more come. They dont seem to increase, they just stay at there original number. Also all the campaign is doing is generating A-A mission, no A-G missions. (No A-G anti-viehicle mission, only OCA, STRIKES, Deep Strikes..etc) I bring some bombs on Barcap's sometimes to bomb viehicles. But the computer wont create A-G missions. I am in day 14 and they still have as many aircraft and viehicles as when they began, and I've shot down 100+ of them and killed 300+ Ground Viehicles.

What do I do?

Be patient. campaign making not complete yet.

my 2c, that bug is related to "supply" value in combat units. In fact, you can hardly see any ground unit dropped in number, by checking that force diagram. both sides remian the same level of power for ten more days, !!

Theater makers are working on F4SP intergration. They'll back to check this.

Do you see same effect on korean campaign?

Man, you mean the attrition of war resources?
Default Korea campaign will consume your war machines at amazing speed, but ODS wont. only minimal drop, then resume previous level.

Hi Guys

IIRC there is a known "attrition bug" which stops the enemy's (and possibly the allied) squadrons getting depleted.

I believe ther will be a fix for this in SP2 certainly and SP1 probably. However, as the "bug" was introduced by MPS to keep the air battle intense some work have to be done on the campaigns to stop the air forces running out of planes within hours.

Yeah I thought there is some sort of fix for that attrition thing already?

I think we can play around with the aircrafts/squadrons with the campaigns, resupplies and so. And who is it to say its unrealistic if some side runs out of aircrafts. I think its cool to see your A2A efforts paying up. Hmm or something.

I totally agree on this - if either side runs out of aircraft due to combat losses then so be it otherwise there is no point having an air war in the first place.

I believe you are right that there is already a fix for this but I'd have to check on the SP groups to see.

OK thanks for the replies. I installed falcon 4 again to play the ODS, havent tried Korea. But when I used to play Korea, i know that the plane levels did drop.
Would you reccommend targeting supply troops then?

Nope. it wont help in ODS, at this moment.
