why in the manual, conversely to ODS, are you suggesting to avoid tweaking the PAK sliders and let HQ manage the air tasking?
did the air campaign in vietnam start on those (default) areas selected by HQ?

how do you suggest to behave with airbase relocation?, either in Vietnam or ODS?

Like said its only a suggestion, but its been my experience that if user edits the PAK priorities itself there is much less campaign activity. If set by HQ, then there is always the maximum of stuff going on.

But I'm not so sure anymore, lately I've been fighting war in ODS theater using just my own settings for PAK and it works pretty OK.

Maybe you can experiment with the set by HQ on and off, using then your own settings. Then post the results here?

I don't know such details. The PAK cities are chosen pretty randomly from China for example, but tried to keep major cities on the list in Vietnam though.

Absolutely OFF, both theaters!

The campaigns were designed to run squadrons in their specific airbases, if they do move then we loose the historic realism.
