very nice links..

This one represents some dry rice paddies type terrain..

as for other pics, look similar to Korea tiles plus more scattering trees. means we can tweak korea tiles for vnam. using some component from tom's new tiles?

other than that, found airbases/stripes background are mostly mud brown color.

and around city area, red roof is a main feature.
