Beta 3 bug?

Man, Thats a BLAST!
more SAM, AAA, and Migs!

Im not a good beta tester, just try to find some:
1.Cant fly EA6B. got no idea but when i join ea6b flights(on the way), it kicks me back to desktop.
2.Ea6B wpn store, i think you didnt ajust their pylon loadouts yet, but squadron store and low or out.
3.USN F4 flights ok, i can join the game.
4.USAF a/c ok.
5.AAM could be too effective. I think people wil complained, i got 3 out of 4 sparrow hits, just too good. i remeber the average PK is 13%?. I think we need RPG to add some old AAMs. If not available in upcoming release, then tell falconers stand with that for the time being.
6.SA2 in RP4 too effective? they works effectively in low-alt seems very maneuverable.
7.need adjust AAA/SAM near airbases. some just sit on taxiway.

BTW, COOL i note you edit the PAK and add words on that small strategic map!

Im not sure if the locations of Vinh and Da Nang airbase are correct, better check them.

BTW, cant resist to quick-build a rough NVAF mig21 skin for the theater..i note you use PLAAF skin for it.

Oops! every1 go vacation?

Just found that TacRef Mod includes Mig17 info, but not available as a stand-alone jet in f4 world.

Snake Man, did RPG/F4A respond to add new a/c or vehicles for Vnam theater?
We probably need "VARIANTS" of vehicles in theater!...just my 2c after making some new TacRef pics for Martin, the author of that TacRef mod.

I'm flew the EA6 this morning. I may not be a good beta tester either, because i can't find any bugs. Runs smooth,AAA,sams,migs,weapons,flight scheduling ect.. its all working. Are you sure the Pk was that low in 1972? Well, i got some NFL playoffs to watch today. Theater looks good snakeman.

Thanx, brewskie, im not a good beta tester too. For unknown reason, i cannot join the first few flights of ea6b from carrier in the begining. will check it again.

AFAIK, PK is very Low, espeicially for sparrow. but aim9 pk is acceptable.
With RP4, the M model is very lethal to 19 and 21.

CCC did you wait untill after takeoff???
If you didn't Falcon will crash it doesn't support carrier takeoffs.
You said they were on the way, maybey you could wait a little bit longer, to make sure
they have took off from the ship

I'm into the second day and i got concerned that there were no Migs up for a while. Then the repairs were completed at Vinh, and they were back, even attacking the prowlers near the carrier task force.

yes, no mig up in late 1st day. got to add more, or turn down the effectiveness of AAMs.

as for migs approaching carrier, maybe PAK should be edited to restrict their patrolling area.

This is weird. But as Brewskie got flying ok (as I did), maybe its because you edited the loadouts with F4Browse? Cant think anything else, why not test with fresh install of default datafiles...

This is definitely work for RPG.

I think every airbase has the defences on same location (excatly same coordinates), but I havent seen airdefences on taxiways. It must depend on the airbase type and runway headings. Which airbase had air defences on taxiways?

3rd day, campaign is running like a marathon.
Bombed Kep airfield looked good. The undulating terrain is awesome, making it very difficult to fly in low, what a rush. GM radar frequently gets blocked by the winding,twisting terrain, you have to pop up here and there to designate for wingies. Your busy ALL the time trying to keep your beast from crashing into a hill while simulatiously preparing your flight for its bombing run. This is when your fully immersed in this baby Image

Snakeman says we are very busy with Nam, Desert storm and T-bone's. He's right there's alot more tiling that still needs to be done in Nam,but we'll get there.
