Hi guys !
I have a few questions to make !
1. How i can change the number and the images on the buttons in the select campaign window ?
2. Which are the characteristics for a Avi video in order to be used in falcon.
3. How i can convince the squadrons to use the skins i want ?
Thank you

Re: General Questions
number and images, I'm assuming you mean squadron names and squadron patches.quote:Originally posted by Ionspy:

Squadron names is changed from Tacedit. Squadron Patches are related to the name somehow, I'm not expert on the patches.
This is what Froglips wrote to me:quote:2. Which are the characteristics for a Avi video in order to be used in falcon.
Snakeman,
Beautiful video. Wrong format. Your format.
320 x 240 x 24bit x 15fps
Correct format.
640 x 240 x 24bit x 24fps
I have tried to correct it but I can not double the height without porking the
aspect ratio. It must match exactly to be recognized by F4.

Hi Widowmaker
Here's the settings I used in Adobe Premiere:
Video Settings
Codec (no pun intended): Cinepak Codec by Radius (Set to compress to
colour)
Resolution: 640x240
Frame Rate: 24fps
Quality: 100%
Limit Data Rate: 500K/sec
Audio settings
Rate: 22050
Format: 16bit Stereo
Compressor: Uncompressed
Rendering Options
Field Setting: No Fields
Special Processing
Gamma 1.0 Noise Reduction: None
Better Resize: Off
Deinterlace: Off
Cropping: Off
I'm not sure if some of the special features are applicable without
messing things up but as these settings worked I would go with them
Judging by the way the Falcon4 exe switches screen resolutions I
suspect they are just using an external call to the media player code
but with checks on what parameters the file holds.
Obviously I had to replace Intro.avi in the movies folder with my own
version and it didn't seem to matter that mine is 3 minutes long so
no need to try and match file sizes/length.
Hope this helps you out.

Hope that helps from me too

Re: General Questions
Thanks for answering to me.
I mean the buttons that you select the campaign you want to play. You know the settings for the other videos (320X240) in falcon and not only the intro one.
