Does anybody know or have a link to a good site for satalitle images? Doing a search on Google doesn't come up with much good...

What are you after the Imagery for??? Terrain?? If so, Ive found, that its best to avoid Satelitte imagery, if possible (too much work, as most of it is B&W, radar or false colours)...

Best bet is to track down down some AERIAL Imagery or Aerial Cartography. Also remember, you DONT need to always find imagery of the area you intend to texture, just stuff that is similiar. (ie, similiar altitude and latitude - most of the time, its going to be fairly similiar)..

Yes, i'm after terrain images... Sudan, Ethiopia, Somalia, Kenya, Yemen, Saudi Arabia and Oman to be exactly... thanx for the feedback..

In that case, im not sure how much help multimap will be, but have a look thru... You maybe able to find some terrain that you can atler the colours on, in photoshop; and suddenly instead of green foothills, u have barren, rocky foothils... Who knows, but have a play!
