Cuba theater?

I was just sniffing through the theater list on the PMC site but to my utter amazement, there's no Cuba theater?

Wouldn't that be an interesting theater for Falcon 4.0? Flying missions out of Southern Florida / the Keys and Guantanamo Bay?

Certainly now with also more older aircraft in the F4 database - we could create historically or 60/70s era theaters as well as modern day theaters?

Just a thought which occurred to me this morning in the shower - thought I'd share it

How much could we cram into a 128x128 theater? Florida + Cuba + piece of Mexico and the Dom. Republic or much more?

I suggest that you scrap the idea for now.

If we really want good theaters to materialize in the future, we need a unified support for it. That meens a democratic way of picking the right theater (among devleopers), and then produce it. Cuba could of course be a good suggestion, but I think we should finish what we have started in ODS, before moving on. There are some requierments for a good theater, and a good land war are difficult among all these Islands.

A land war is very possible at Cuba - don't forget that Guantanamo Bay is an American base and could be a very realistic beachhead for any US invasion of Cuba.

I would prefer the map with the larger Florida section on it, would give the Western side more bases to operate from.

To make it really interesting, We could write a scenario in which Cuban Forces have invaded and occupied Jamaica and the Dom Republic and stationed fighters and AAA/SAM systems there as well. We could put the Hawaii Palmtrees to go use there

I'd agree there Striker. The 64 segment I'm looking at right now for Panama might be a good one.

Includes Panama (for US Bases), Colombia, and Venezuela (F-16 user). The area has some fantastic scenery including The Andes, getting on for 20,000 feet high. I'll post a pic tonight.
