Question for Widow (or anyone really)
I was curious as to the purpose of making tile sizes 250 meters square? I've been thinking about it but can't figure it out. I have a fealing its one of those "oh duh" answers.

Korea, Balkans, ODS etc use 1000 meter tiles
however if somoene wants to make tiles for Iceland, they gotta draw therm from a 250 meter perspective.

hmmm, but why?
Does it let you make "rounder" coast lines or something? Or is it that it is the only way to make Iceland "exactly" to its size?

Re: Question for Widow (or anyone really)
Ultimately, a 250 metre tile will give:
a) a higher definition terrain
b) a greater sensation of speed over the terrain
Why?
a) 16 times the detail per square kilometre
b) more "movement" in your peripheral vision leads to a greater fooling of the brain into thinking you are moving - the more movement the greater the feeling hence more speed impression
Hope this makes sense!
