Well it looks like these two will be the last two packs of tiles I will ever make for the ME theater. Everything is all wrapped up.
I totally redid the original tiles that have already been renamed:
http://www.angelfire.com/ma/falcon4/editedtiles.zip
and I've made 400 new ones
http://www.angelfire.com/ma/falcon4/bigpaktiles.zip
both are around 5 MB.
If any old road tiles still exist in the editedtiles.zip please tell me becuase I think I may have left one out by accident. Also please include every single tile included in here. In the last few tiles packs, you left some of the tiles out of the texture.Bin, now that these have all been fixed we can use all of them.
Also the coastal tiles have been vastly improved with now 3 gradually progressing types of water: light green, green algae, into deep blue.
All these tiles should overwrite all the old new tiles packages that I gave you earlier because their hues have been readjusted for a more realistic look.

Okay then, here is what I would do:
1.) Goto angelfire.com
2.)Log in
Name: ma/falcon4
Password: indigo
3.) look in directory for both tiles packs. Remember that the previous new tiles packs I sent to you should be deleted because I redid ALL of them. The ME theater should look very different after this.

Do you think I should delete all unused korean default tiles from the texture.bin, the download size would be considerably less I think...

Re: New Middle East textures for Snakeman
Actually the previous new tiles that still need to be implemented that have not been used in bigpaktiles.zip are the generic city tiles, waterfalls, Hforr variations. Just replace the ones in bigpaktiles.zip with the corresponding new tile. Only a few of the previous ones were not included.
In other words don't delete all of the new ones. There are some in the previous packages that have not been edited. I suggest unzipping all the packages into a dir and then unzipping this new one into the dir so it overwrites the ones that the new and improved versions are going to replace. There are some I haven't edited and those you must keep.

Ok now, you're sure by using this unzipping overwrite thing we dont lose any needed tiles?quote:Originally posted by T Bone:

Sounds easy, but I want to make sure nothing is left out.

Re: New Middle East textures for Snakeman
Well all that needs to be done is to unzip all my previous new tiles packets and then unzip this bigpaktiles.zip into the dir and it will overwrite the ones that have been edited. The ones that aren't overwritten are the ones that I haven't redone. Included are some totally new tiles as well.
And with the editedtiles.zip just use it and unzip into the H textures directory since it is basically the tiles in TILES11800.zip that have been graphically updated. I think 1 or 2 may still be in 16k color mode so be careful.
Have fun
