BTW, the loading speed is very fast!
only one question, people on Csim board used to post Pics...can we do that here?
of course, i dont expect we can attach small zip files like Delphi here.

This is unregistered... umm .. ultimate bulletin board of what the heck its called. The registration was like $200 or was it even $300 which is nuts.

Image posting, smileys and such nice features arent supported in this limited free version.

If you really want to build f4 general discussion forum, then better move now, f4 msg board addicts are surfing everywhere to find their new home

I'm going to buy a 6 months subscription for 18 bucks. I want access to past threads/tips/tweaks/ect.., plus if it helps doug out of a jam, then fine. For me personally, i am totally opposed to paying for content, even more so if that content generated by us! IMO he deserves the 18, but after this, "no mas."

I have no problems paying the $4 per month, but I have problems paying because no credit cards or such. cheques and money orders are "difficult" banking business, I hate that.

The F4 forum is dead, maybe 5 new posts out of what 50 from 12/29 on the first page. The entire forums list looks this way,dated 12/29, frozen in time.

As for setups, the setup you have here, with the flames displayed on the threads, and the smiles message icons, is the same over there.

I was wondering if its good to leave those extra icons around, like in this message you should see thumbs up icon. Maybe these create the feeling of kindergarden or something? heh anyways, some eye candy is nice but we dont want to look like kids

Well Tbone i don't know why you hate delphi so much after we are talking about the larger F4 forum. but lets not forget Snake man and F4c got great forums. the problem is that most of the tilers are the one who are writing in Snake man forum. we need other F4 players here

IMHO the thumbs up and similar message icons are corny, but i do like the addition of the smiles legend,qoutes,and pics.

$3.33 is way to much to be paying for a UBB forum. Besides, most of the community will leave the board so there really is no point in staying. Yes I do feel pity for Doug, but his mistakes should not come at our expense. If combatsim.com is going down the toilet so to speak, then so be it, the Falcon 4.0 community has better things to do than paying for a subscription only website that offers the same communications relay as this board, Frugal's, Sim HQ's, or even Delphi. Really people... Combatsim was great while it lasted, but its just a website. The entire F4 community is like a big family and we have plenty of other ways to correspond with each other. Bearing that in mind, lets toast to another year of Falcon 4.0! 2001 a new beginning
