Hmmm..very good..I wonder if Aeyes would do one for me ..those sure look awesome

I got a basic idea for Iceland Splashscreen..yet techical execution seems still abit hard and I cant find the time to make one..

This is what I got:


Basically..the map should replacing the F16..and the rest is open..

hehe I think Aeyes could build one for you, once the theater's reaching its beta release.

btw, you have to define the time frame of Iceland theater, then what a/c or pics could be included in splashscreen.
my 2c, splashscreen of a cold war style sounds great, centered on F15 or F4 based on Iceland, mixed with some flight map, scramble runners/ground crew, intercept/escort shots..etc.

full colors screen takes some effort..what i can build are ugly blue-green ones.

Best is to enter real pics and preferably high quality ones. A splash will always degrade due to colour limitations.
When you have decided upon what timeframe and what you like in it gimme a call

I got some Ideas on my camapigns..and I think it will have more timeframes them 1
I'm thinking of a 60/70 cold war campaign
a 70/80 campaign and a 90/2000 campaign..
I wanna collect three different skinpacks for it...
I will search for good pics...I'll let you know when I got more info..

Hmm.. three campaigns with different skin packs for each of them...no idea how to handle the switching.
Increasing/duplicating CT indexes seems a bad idea. maybe use external f4patch switching?

btw, i know 70/80 campaign can use some Kiev+yak, and 90/2000 can use Kuz+su/mig,
dunno if Russian got carrier to land on Iceland in 60/70? Moscow class ASW ship?

ct indexes are way of my expertise and would consume too much time

You just got to make up your mind on wich time area/camapign you wanna fly and select the right skinpack for it...

AFAIK, if you want 3 campaigns in 3 era, my 2c here:
1.60/70: early cold war, F106?+F4(earlier model, USAF/USN) vs Tu4/tu16/tu22/Tu28/Tu95/yak38? other russia a/c(FA) in this era cant reach iceland?
2.70/80: climax of cold war, F4(latest model), F15, F16? F14/18 vs tu16/22/22m/95+su24/27(earlier model)/yak38. in this case you'll play interception against bombers/ASMs.
3.90/2000: F15/14/18/16?/22 vs tu95/160/22m+yak38, su24/39/33/34/35/30/37+ mig29k?

btw, since current theater doesnt cover another nordic countries or UK territories, dunno if UK/French carriers want to join the game?
