www.terraserver.com has more than just the US... I got LOTS of imagery of 1992 Bagdad of Terraserver... Alas in B&W...

For iceland, you maybe able to pilfer some imagery from the UK at www.multimap.com

I can't find SEA rice paddies from that site..B/W is ok. any idea?

No idea's of the top of my head where to find rice patties, but im sure if you looked, you maybe able to find some aerial photo's of rice patties, even if they are not trully vertical, theyre useful and can be used... Also, ive also found that sat images are no match for good aerial photography... That stuff is taken at MUCH lower altitudes, higher res and is normally in colour...

My onoy advice may well be, try and find some Vietnam Low Level recon footage/images from RF-4C's and RF-8's etc...
