I forgot: I only made some short flights yet, so I am not 100% sure about the buffer overrun.
Does somebody know why there is still "nowhere" displayed in the OOB although it is correct on the map?
Best regards, Tobias

Its going to SnakeMan Tobias. I only slightly reworked the Czech area in *.CAM file.would just like to hand the file over to Luk to do a last check- it's his work, I just did the linking. So all credit goes to him.

Oooops... Please check if there are some unlinked bridges... (Object list- Parent -> scroll down) I forgot a few and just sended the reworked file back to you... I don't know if I was fast enough to send the "reworked file" early enough.
Well, if there are, please send me the file back, I will rework it again by just re- importing the linked bridges
Anyway, it would also work out to just import the czech objectives into the file which is basically the same. If you don't want to do it, send it to me, I will do so and fix what I just messed up by being too late
It's only about 1 or 2 hours to fix those links, maybe I already gave the file to you.
Sorry.
Edit: Just looked up the date, 11th April. Should be the one with the correct links
I should really keep some kind of history... Please send me your file, your file is the latest one then.
Best regards, Tobias

Luk,
There must be some sort of language disconnect between us. I definitely don't speak your native language better than you speak english, so I guess I better make myself clearer.
First, what I meant about Stef is this: Stef is a perfectionist. I am not. Stef will spend two years tweaking a terrain before he works the .cam files. I will take whatever SM posts and work with it. I certainly like flying over nice terrain, and if that is your passion, then I'm all for it.
As for the rest, I'm not impatient guy. Take as long as you want. I'm going on deployment until November and won't be editing anything I don't take with me. How long this takes truly has no bearing on my feelings.
You all have your mind made up about what you need in Europe to make a working campaign. I look forward to flying it when it's done.

Gentlemen, I'm still working on my campaing plan.
you know narrowing down the flying area by removing objects..... and it works pretty well...
Luk, i tried to implement your terrain files into my FF5 install but it keeps on CTDing. anyway to get them working in FF5? would be very nice!!
Gentlemen, i think I'm on the right track here. anyone who wants to test it out, just let me know, i'm assembling a d/l package of this campaign atm.
flew already ~16 missions in a row without CTDing...
btw further i have 3 people out there who are creating dedicated european skins atm! (soviet Su-25, MiG-21s, MiG-29s, USAFE F-16/F-15 tails, ....)
best regards
Stef

yes, keeps crashing on the pie screen, Instant action, TE & campaigns.
(i have "just" copied your theater.l2 theater.o2 & theater.map file into my \Theaters\Europe\terrdata\terrain folder...) I'm using FF5.3 here...
any advice?

Are you kidding Stef?yes, keeps crashing on the pie screen, Instant action, TE & campaigns.

When copied, you have to also:
Remove other Lx,Ox files from the directory (there should be L2,O2,map and mea files only).
Delete/remove fartiles.raw from "texture" directory (dont know whether FF5 still use it..?).
You need your AF type texture.bin, zip for free falcon (some DDS version you have written about before-or wait for final release).
I think, you can use old "mea" file (better to produce the new one by Pathmaker).
Then run SPTInstall - it will make new LX,OX files + perhaps also fartiles.raw data(if FF5 still use it).
So you can not mix new L2/O2 with older L3/O3 etc...!
You must use AF compatibile texture.bin/zip. (terrain files use this type tile-codeing)
BTW: When talking about "multifalcon"(for AF/OF/FF) Eu version - what does it mean FF? Does it mean FF5?
It is very important - FF5 has some serious changes in DB (or am I wrong?)

I would say yes, FF5.x, because it is the latest version of FF.

Do you have any documentation about FF5 objectives? I have heard, the database is "cleaned". I dont know - what does it mean?I would say yes, FF5.x, because it is the latest version of FF.

Have you seen my thread? IMHO a good Europe theater is not possible without AIM-9L/S because in the '80s only GB got AIM-9M.

Yes, I have seen. Because your mod is mostly about weapons, it is good that you started it independently of the theater, or in finished Korea theater.
