heya snake man ,
I have a updated version of the aircavsm8 and 2 new type of missions.1 is a base defence and the other type is a pilot type mission.This mission we hsve to support an usmc platoon on the ground for 40mins.Stop em getting overun.We can also grab a squad and help em out on the ground if we desire.

Its the name of the item you just uploaded. Put mouse over it and it gives you the link. If you get the link from the "Download now", that is not correct as it gives some weird personal scrambled link.

I went to the IRC an you wernt around m8 but i need to tell ya the server crashed and it was on the new firebase mission .It will also crash on the save the platoon mission as they share the same scripts .I am working on em now and they shouldnt be long . sry for the inconveniance.

Also

Hows the 50k island going ? did it work out ok?

I will keep the IRC channel open m8 though i will be going to bed soonish.

Did look at the wrp but there is still way too many data3\ objects which I would have to convert into ca\ objects, that I did not take the task yet. Anyways read the IRC info again, write it down to a text file and/or paper and join to IRC. Much easier talk the detailed stuff there than go back and forth in the forum.

Server is back up, from now on we continue with the new filenames & version number in mission name field for updated missions and only deleted old versions after several days as they are not used anymore.

this is steve m8 , ron has it set up and has a better idea of what to do .I will have to wait for him to get up tommorrow.
The objects i left in the wrp were the ones that were listed in the forums as having the same names in arma so i didnt worry about them.I will talk to you later about this on IRC prolly later on..

The firebase dottie mission gives this error which crashes the server.

Dedicated server has been patched to hotfix 4 now, so be sure to grab it and patch your VTE before joining.

Latest mission updates from Anzac Steve, they are now updated with latest bugfixes and the ACH-47A gunship I've been told. Cant wait to try.

I have my own latest WIP mission the LRRP Patrol, this time its first time a persistent mission that I wanted to test, meaning enemies get created while the battle rages, its going to be very interesting to see how it plays out. This mission also includes ammobox with the new smokeshells and the ACH-47A.

No I have not gotten the file down, filefront says to me:

It feels like forever since my last MP session, but all the edits I've worked so hard are definitely worth it. When the next release is done, I'm just going to take like week to play only MP

Just thought i would mention that i am waiting for the next patch to be relased before i update the ANZAC SAS missions.Hopeing to get some Objects in the editor to play with and "dance up" some places.There is a new version of these already done using the new smoke shells but i think the link musta got lost .Does IRC keep the text if i leave the channel?.If not i know what happened to the link then.I musta disconnected before snake got the link

Nevermind there is nothing wrong with em as such but they always need more refining.

I havnt been Making missions lately ,I bought myself a new pc setup and i've just been playn a bit and drooling over the new VGA card.

But ill get bak into it soon no doubt.

Editor objects, hmm okay I'll see what I can do. But do we really need all the junk from ArmA? We definitely wont need any Iraq/Mog looking buildings thats for sure, so how do I distinct which is wanted object and which is not.

Could you post into the suggestion box topic your favourite "must have" top-50 objects for example and I then really would try to add these at all cost into the next version? (ie dont answer here, answer into the suggestion box topic heh).

Btw I havent checked, but I added all v0.4 objects in editor (meaning if they were in there at v0.4 they are in now ArmA too). Oh and yes I did see your text on IRC, I can actually still see it:

snake that was for MDSZ aircav only.there was another post with all the aircav missions.That might have been in the VTE MP missions thread that i started but isnt there anymore.

Dedicated server has been updated with the pre-alpha 11-23-07 and I have included one test mission for using all the new US aircrafts to go after NVA SA-2 SAM sites. Will definitely be interesting to see how it turns out in MP.

All the savetheplatoon missions have been deleted from the server as I got this error and server crashed:

.I was waiting for it to happen.A new version was made for these.I also let u know that in the KHE-SAHN version the AI cant see each other under the Tall mangrove Tree blocks even though there is no groundcover apart from some very thin tree trunks.Very strange. I actually gave up on that area in KHE-SAHN and shifted it somewhere else.Might be worth having a look at the mission and the location of the troops to see for yourself as i was quite surprised to see them walking into each other almost .I hadnt noticed this problem untill i made that mission.But we did have alot of trouble in the KHE-SAHN Aircavalry missions trying to find the Enemy.

I sent you the link a while ago for the "new" versions and said that the old version/s would crash.

I have been refining the missions and replacing the ARMA sandbags with VTE etc, an Update for all the ANZACSAS missions will be ready soon.

Also it would good idea to delete the older aircav missions aswell. For people are playing,downloading and hosting them.

These older versions are pretty rough as they date back to the first release.

Actually i cant remember if i sent you the new versions or noy but i did inform ya of the Fatal error that occurs.But no worries m8 "I /we have been Flat out like a lizard drinking" and ya/we cant remember everything
