this system is exclusively for Taiwanese airbase defence. missile is TC-1 all-aspect IR AAM, equivalent to AIM-9M.

derStef, please don't quote images as it just clutters the forum with duplicate images. Quoting images is lame, if not even rude.
I know that we don't have set rules here which everyone can read, but I have mentioned the image size and image quoting no-go for several times now. Please lets try to stick to these simple rules.

yes, Snake Man, good that you think the same like me, they are really important for a realistic Taiwan campaign! good that you agree with me! CCC should really make them ready!Snake Man wrote:derStef, please don't quote images as it just clutters the forum with duplicate images. Quoting images is lame, if not even rude.

Re: 3D stuff for Taiwan theater - warning- pics
Hey CCC,
Have you also 3D models for
F-16B (MLU) or general a F-16 double seater with "drag chute box" in Tail.
F-5B
Fokker 50
Beech 1900C
?
btw, IF the time will come, what do you think are the most neccesary 3D models which are not in FF5 DB? what should be integrated first?
for me personaly
F-CK-1A/B
F-5B/F
RF-5E
AT-3
FC-1
F-16B as described above
cheers

Re: 3D stuff for Taiwan theater - warning- pics
Honestly.. 3d models, skins, and database are LAST things to worry about.
If possible, Always work on Terrain and Campaigns first.
the reason i work on 3d stuff is..it's interesting, and within my reach.

acutally you don't have to worry about 3d stuff.. i've a list. if the item is not available in my collection, i can build it in days.derStef wrote:Ya, i know... but i'm just asking to get a better picture what i'm doing here ol chap...
the model list for taiwan theater is pretty long..covering air, land, sea and ammo. i don't plan to post it until we getting close to database editing stage..which comes after we've a working campaign.

it's all up to your Database editing capability, and the timeframe of your campaigns.derStef wrote:CCC, what do you think would be the most importan models for Taiwan? you should know best.

Stefan,
Please read that post carefully.
The TIMEFRAME of your campaigns is very important. I never got a clear vision of that from you in our conversations.
You guys are 95% there. When are we focusing this theater/these campaigns on? We can tighten everything up from there.

Re: 3D stuff for Taiwan theater - warning- pics
Alright... you convinced me you have a capable 3d/DB guy.
From your pic i found a bug on HF-2 ASM model: there's an air-inatke lid, once the missile launched, the lid will disappear. i fixed the Switch node in new file:
http://www.multiupload.com/VLHF8HVDUN
BTW, Both HF-2 and WJ SOW have X-switch nodes for lid and wings.. to make them work correctly, in LodEdit> LOD Parent Data page, nSwitch = 1 .

I would be happy to backup your files here on PMC sekret codelabs, but unfortunately I don't have patience to download many files per dir when you got so many dirs there. Could you arrange one RAR or 7zip download for me?
