Which seat do I get???

Nice job. Now do a copy and paste/insert of the seat branch. Then use the measuring tool to get the offset and open up the new SubTree vectors and apply the measured offset. That would put you a second seat in there!

YEAAAAA Image

You're really the BEST!

For some time I was just playing the Vietnam add-on because I'm tired of Korea.
Balkan have arrived and I fire it up! Really good work. But, you're new F-16 mod!! Image
Please, let me try it. Ho, and can you make it so, to "add" it, not to "change" it for another airplane?

And please, make it the "spined", that one has is own ECM and can carry more fuel Image

Next, how about an SU-33 dual Image

If, i only know how you people have time for this(!) For me is jut, work, work and more work, damn. Only have 1h at night to fly Image

18 August, is far, far. I'm going to Azores, he, he. US have's an air base there; lot's of F-16 Image. Whe only have 25 F-16 A(I think) here, in Portugal!

Well, keep going you're good wourk Image

Well, here's a small "undersite". When looking at missiles mounted on the wingtips, they seem to be hanging from the wingtip, instead of flushly attached to the rail. Or, is it me???

Oh! One more thing. On the canopy of the F16, the support bar that seperates the main canopy from the aft, in the real F16 it's slanted back...not vertical as it is in Falcon. These are minor gripes...but your handiwork seems quite accute to detail. Thats's a good thing in my book!! Thanks for your efforts.

Xanix,
after evaluation phase, we'll prepare them for the public. and the spine/dorsal fairing, need extra vertices to model.
su33, Ripper had done a nice one..wait, su33 got no two-seater, you mean su30.
and this modeling time..hmm..it depends, if you are familiar with model layout and LE, that F16B takes you less 5 mins to do lod1, just move 10 more vetices in X axis, then you fly it in F4 Image Image
and if you familize with Mike's LODcompiler, a new missile with full LOD1-3 take less than one hour. i think 30 min is enough.

RP,
Im not very interested in refining viper, since G2/F12 will do it.
that wingtip missile slot need specialist to fix it, not my part. As for canopy frame, limited by vert numbers, cant do more at this moment.

Xanix, you sure you are Portuguese!? lol Image

We have 20 F-16A/B ADF, the other 5 are only for spares (canibalization), 25 more are already in Beja, they are beeing transformed to MLU configuration (5 are for spares).
So we have 40 F-16A/B. Image

Why are you limited by the vert numbers? You can add or remove just about anything from the model now?

We found an error in the saving process that affected the F16. It is fixed now and should be in a release Fred is putting out today (might be in 3.02, not sure).

Anyway, what you should do if you have not figured it out:

1. Make a copy of these 3 files:

Koreaobj.HDR
Koreaobj.LOD
Koreaobj.TEX

2. Keep in a safe place.

Whenever things go south on you, just copy those files back in and you are good to go again!

Hi CCC,

Just to get my mind set straight, althought it's maybe a very stupid question.
Will al these new 3D models be implemented into Falcon. Geus the anwser will be no, and your just fooling around with the LOD prog.
But just to be sure. What will, and what will not be implemented into Falcon ?

All can be implanted into F4.

But now something changed, we can convert complex 3ds models into LOD format. so, i expect 3ds modelers will like to re-do most of them!

CCC,

I'd like to take a look at that that 2-seat F-16 model if you still have it.

Did you ever add the 2nd pilot?

1.I probably have dropped it. you can make one in minutes, just move verts around viper canopy rim backward, about 8 or 10 ft in X value, then you got it.
2. nope.
3. my 2c, Dragon can always build a better one :D you really want to insert a two-seater in F4SP2?

OK I figured out which verts to edit to get the extended canopy, more like about 20-30 verts! :^)

The shape looks about right. One of the foreward polys gets stretched which will no doubt mean I must re-map that part... not a big deal but on the list.

One thing that's not completely correct is the canopy support ring - it must get moved back for this conversion. I'm going to try to export those LP nodes into a subtree, and insert a new ring at the correct location, resizing as needed. Low priority as it doesn't look too bad in its current form.

Still need to copy/insert the 2nd pilot head/seat.

I'm putting this off pending EF-2000 updates but I'll try to get it completed ASAP.
