GIMP v2.99.18 Released: The Last Development Preview Before 3.0

Read News GIMP v2.99.18 released.
We remind that a development version means that this is a release to show work-in-progress but also give an opportunity to the community to detect issues early and report issues. In other word, this is an unstable version and we do not recommend to use it in production. Use it because you want to help GIMP improve by reporting bugs.

GIMP v2.10.38 Released:

Read News GIMP v2.10.38 Released.
This (possibly last) GIMP 2 stable release brings much-requested backports from GTK3, including improved support for tablets on Windows. A number of bug fixes and minor improvements are also included in this release.

This is a short development update on our progress towards the first release candidate for GIMP 3.0. We recently reached the string freeze milestone. What this means is that there will be no more changes in user-facing text (like GUI labels and messages) so that translators can work on the final translations for the 3.0 release. GIMP v3.0 first release candidate is now available, see GIMP 3.0 RC1 News. Remember that this is very much under development, its only a release CANDIDATE not a final release, use caution if trying it out.
