Hi --
Would it be possible to get a version of TacEdit that saves v62 format files? This would allow us Macintosh fellows to expedite the porting of theaters.
Maybe a filter program can be written that will accomplish this -- i.e. translate current TacEdit v73 saved *.cmp *.tac *.trn files to v62?
TacEdit Alpha does save out to v62, but has no Objects list export or import capability, and this is the main thing needed. Maybe the old file-writing code from Alpha can be added to current TacEdit 246 as an export option?
Any help or suggestions appreciated.

@ Bird-FF (or anyone else who knows the answer): What is the offset for the version number on a cam file? How do I find it with a hexeditor? Is it the same for the .tac and .trn files also? ThanksBird-FF wrote:try hex editing the cam file.. see if it opens..
