Terrain View 3d Woes

Post by Lupus » 2001-11-09 07:42:00

Is there something I'm missing in terrainview? When I select the 3d view of a segment, it seems I have a limited number of frames before the whole 3d view goes white, If I hit stop really quick I can view the static 3d image as long as I like, but rotating, or if I hit the up/down or in/out buttons too much it goes white.

What gives?

Running:
Win98SE
500mhz AMD k6-II
384MB ram
Geforce2 MX200
DirectX 8.1

That won't always help, as in my case. I can only use this buggy hardware mode, as the software mode is totally inoperative on my system. I suspect my video card (Voodoo 3 2000) is complaining about the stupid way I've tried to update it's drivers (tried to use Omega drivers, gave it up, went back to the old official 1.07, and have had such glitches ever since)

Hmmmm...I've got the VOodoo 3 2k also (I think), and don't have the problem. I'll have to see what drivers I'm using. I know I updated them awhile ago...
