i was kind of hoping anyone could make these into tile set with forrest transitions, roads and canals... would allow me to start tiling my Europe scenery....
Also is anyone already working on Euro scenery

Just got a reply from the author that i can NOT use the tiles since they are included in a shareware program...

Too bad the author wont help us, say, is that author's intention to keep tiles within MSFS world? or we got to pay for SHAREware?

I'd like to learn more, about the author and his tile mod..maybe a petition? how to contact him?

btw, EAW european tiles looks great too, dunno if EAW mod makers use MSFS resources?

and, whats your European theater? I've never heard that.

the European theater i'm referring to is really not much, just some terrain and features i've downloaded... though i already managed to make the dutch underwater area land ! plus already inserted some bases in a .tac file.

You can contact the author of those superb tiles on ruud.faber@hetnet.nl
only explanation he gives is that the tiles are incorporated in FScene2002 and that that is shareware...

excuse me, whats that .r8 format? texture?
cant view them!! any tool to convert .r8 for bmp or jpg or pcx?

btw, i note that norway link said their norway98 won the prize of best freeware scenery...and there are many freeware scenery covering italian, french, usa... all free, any1 check them?

Tools are available to convert R8 to BMP and vice versa... i got on that runs under dos on my HD...

Guess you could easily find one, if not mail me !!!
