My new toy, Saitek X52 HOTAS

Post by Snake Man » 2007-02-12 09:15:37

Today I was flying around, then I got fed up with the combat autopilot "viewmode" which I do now since I don't have a joystick. Went out and bought to myself a Saitek X52 setup.

It installed like a charm, no more gamecard crap like back in the old days, gotta love USB.

Now I'm very eager to get some real flying time, gotta start to refresh my memory how to drop bombs and fire missiles again :)

Yeh, I bought myself the same thing (X52) for my Christmas present to myself. I love it. I was using a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro before and I had worn it out (rudder twist was screwy).

X52 is nice (plenty of functionality) and doesn't pack the weight (pounds) nor the cost of the Cougar.
