A little f4patch eye candy ;)
This is by no means finished, but Dallas and I are currently working with both Viperwear, Swissflight, FAR148, Mike Rivers and possibly a few others (it is MY honor) to combine these into a working f4patch skin. Thought you guys might like to see the beginning of the end. Oh, and yes, these are all fully functional (of course).

Very nice Robert!
BTW wonder how to intergrate so many texture sets on one or few viper lods for theaters like Israeli theater..Egypt, Jordan, and Israel all got vipers -- three sets of texture is minimal, better with four or five sets.. or Egypt/Jordan use A model?
very cool experience playing viper vs viper in that hot theater!

Well, one could always make a special set of viper LODS that have the extra sets and assign new CT's?

ya, then it sounds like a "theater-specific tweak" based on upcoming SP4 DB. the CT# and LOD# could remain the same, the lod content be replaced with new ones using more tex sets. Hopefully wont affect the unity of SP.

Is there anyway to insure that a specific squadron will show up at a specific airbase? If so, we could make a viper model with, say, 12 skin sets to cover the Arab states. I haven't seen the Israeli theatre yet, in fact, I haven't ever been out of Korea yet.

What about the EF2000? 5 or 6 different skins for that one alone. It seem like the next level would be to add more skinsets for more jets, etc. I honestly don't know if that's even possible, though.

Remember that that skinset used in SP3 is based on the squadron number (MOD(max_skinsets)) so that if Eypts squadrons are all even numbered and Jordans are odd numbered you could separate effectively that way. etc. Using IRL squadron numbers gets tricky....

Cobracab.
I've placed a new skin on my web site, http://home1.gte.net/res0q9bt
You'll find an SEA style camo for the F-111F. And also, there is an F-4E skin there aswell.
