No flares after SP3 installation??

Hey guys, I wanted to write about this some time ago but I kept forgetting, but here it is now. After the SP3 installation, when I press the flare button there is no flare released but there is chaff instead. So when I press the chaff there is chaff released, but when I press flares there is chaff released although the word flare is heard. I know this because when I press flare button there is small white lines released(isn't that chaff?). I know flares are bright and they leave a trace behind them. Are flares released and the problem is with the image which is not shown properly?? What do you think guys??

Hi Butcher,
When your in the cockpit set your EWS progrom to 2 or higher,this should fix your problem...

Thanks guys. I didn't actually use #2 but #4 because with #2 too many were fired and that is a waste. With #4 though 2 are fired each time so there is not such waste. Thanks anyway.

You can reprogram any EWS program. IIRC, you have to set the EWS mode to stdby, enter the EWS page through the DED and program it. Its all in the SP3 manual.
