Incredible guy, he builds everything by his own, 3d model, terrain, FM, coding..everything!!
be sure to click most pics, very impressive. that terrain reminds me of DID's ADF/TAW.

Very impressive/clever guy this fellow is. I'm sure if all of us were not as busy with Real Life (TM) as we are now, we could get something like this going :O)

Hi Propulsor,
We're looking forward to your demo!
I know you prefer to work on your own sim but, if you can share your free time helping F4 community, we'd heartily appreciated!

Hi Propulsor !
Was looking at your new terrain engine, and it looks very good. Do you pick your height data from an open source ? Could you tell us a bit more about it ? (I read what's on your page)
Keep it coming !

Re: Alex's glHorizone flight sim!
Hello to everybody ! Actually i can get and import terrain data from .dem sources directly into glHorizon, but i also enjoy building my own terrain .raw files, which basically are square greyscale images. In both cases i use Bryce to generate the terrain texture which is applied on that terrain heightmap. glHorizon terrain engine can use maps of any size (i even tried a 16384 x 16384 pixels map, a very huge terrain to fly over!), without overloading the cpu so much, since the triangles are loaded dinamically thanks to frustum culling, which doesn't render the triangles that are not in the field of view therefore improving performances, and textures are tiled accordingly.
I hope you can understand me, my English is not perfect, sorry ! If you have more questions i'll be happy to answer.
Bye for now

Propulsor,
Will there be a version for Win98 and WinME in the future? It looks great and I would love to try it, but I would perfer to keep Win98. Great work, keep it up.

Re: Alex's glHorizone flight sim!
Hi guys, the demo is finally available for download. It is a very early demo so probably is buggy and not very stable. Falcon, i'm currently working to make it compatible with Win98, so don't worry !
Thanks you all
