Skin talk: "borrow" some skins from Flanker mods?

As i used to play with texture thing, any new release of sim texture interested me.
sure, i wont miss those from Flanker mod-makers!

I picked some for test, ya, cut-scale-paste for falcon4..yes, the result is satisfactory!

In case you dont know, one of the converted skins is Su39, included in Theater Skin Pack, for Iceland theater.

why i post flanker thing here? since LE users are working on new 3d toys, these links could provide us superb textures when we texture-map them!

BTW, if anyone know where can i get skins of Microprose's Tank Platoon or Gunship! , pliz give me a shout. my 2c, the ground vehicle textures in these two titles are the best i've ever seen, 100% satisfication from a modeler's view! sure, hope falcon4 could use some.

Have the game installed. Now I´m wondering how to get the skins out of the sim. Maybe there is a tool somewhere around to extract the skins like the skin-editor we have for Falcon.

I got a TP3 too, and ever read some tool to extract skins. just forget where the thread is, probably in simhq msg board.

and widmker, na, it means skins in TP3 contains excellent skins for its ODS and European theaters.

Too bad, the color palette of TP3 screw up in my nividia vid card. Voodoo should work.

those tank skins are stored in 3db format, i think, just encrypted.
i try to catch skin shots with HyperSnap, no sucess.

then try to catch some screen from Gunship! demo, no, those tanks just move toooo fast!
