Vietnam Pac

I am new at these add-ons...I need to know what all I need for Vietnam Install.
I tried and had a ms-dos error in reading a zip file. In fact 2 errors. When I closed ms-dos screen. Vietnam pac continued to load.
But no Vietnam in game?
I did a full install. applied 1.08 patch.
I placed "F4Patch_Standard_322" Into Falcon folder.
I expanded package...which was confusing because I received a notation about not being able to open falcon.exe
It created the patch...then I tried install of Vietnam pac...no luck?
So I have downloaded the vietnam pac again, matbe it was faulty...I need some help here.
I have included my E-mail address for some feedback to this. It maybe an easy fix, but I don't know. I would love to try this and other add-ons.
Please help a fellow F-16 pilot.

I would like someone to write up a read me to full install of this Add-On.
I have been flyn F4 for 2 weeks now. Kool stuff. I am big flight simmer. European Air War/CFS2.
Thought I would try modern aircraft.
Vietnam sounded sweet. But I haven't had any luck with installing it. Didn't come with a read me?
I have E-mailed Snake...no reply yet.
Has this game died out....or does anyone play...and where...online.
I would love to join the fun.

snakemans on vacation. this is the best computer generated scenery of vietnam/Loas/Thialand currently on the planet It also has a good campaign, but project1 is doing a phantom sim, and we kinda don't want to step on their toes and hurt their sales so thats why its a little quite, but this is a masterpiece if you can get it to run. Also search this forum and frugals for help if you still need it.

Anyway
here's what i did.
1. Uninstalled F4 and deleted entire dir.
2. defrag,reboot.
3. reinstalled F4,reboot
4. delete msvcrt.dll, install 108,reboot
5. unzip ibeta 108i2 to F4 dir.
6. unzip F4 patch 3.2 to F4 dir.go to file expand package
7. double click Nam installer,installed,reboot
8. Went from start/programs/falcon 4 vietnam theater select "switch to vietnam"
9. it calls up F4patch executable window reads Falcon4\F4Patch_standard_32.exe
then went to terrain and selected vietnam, apply patch.Yes! exit.
10. Went into to winexplorer opened F4patch.exe selected 108i2 exe
11. applied fly/task,Erazors memory leak plug,RP4.1 patches, they all applied. Launch. it works.

I notice I can play in Vietnam in Dogfight mode.
I have instant action, play.
No other modes seem to work..like campaign.
Is this best online?
What are the best game settings?

we dont want to hurt TK but, F4 mod is definitely a sim killer(espeically you got magic tool like LE)!!

Ok ...another victory!!!
I am getting all this to work well I must say.
I have one problem left, When I leave F4 to my desktop, I get a program error that says if problem continues please contact vendor.
I close it and all seems ok. But I get this every time.
Any hints?

Alls well here. No more exit error.
I like this allot. Just had first victory in bombing escort to Ding Ho airbase. Took on damage but limped home with a rough landing. But lived with good breifing report.

I still need tips on AG targeting and release.
This is great....good job to PMC TFW crew.
