Well to clear things up, PMC Libya Theater is planned be made compatible with BMS with help from demer928 because he already has done work for it. I can't say anything for sure as I have not installed BMS yet, I have not tested it, I don't know anything about it (learning now). If theater's are easy to make compatible then there shouldn't be a problem.

There won't be any "brand new theater for BMS" it will be just new version of PMC Libya Theater (v0.1.1) release with added BMS compatibility.

No alphas or other test versions will be released outside PMC Tactical / our installer.

I can't emphasize enough how badly we need information about BMS itself and how theater editing has changed in it. Everyone out there reading this, don't just sit on the info, post it in the proper topic so we can get some progress. I don't want this current topic to be the "how to edit BMS theaters", if you have basic info then please put it into the proper topic instead. All specific libya related stuff, put here of course.

Anyways to get the ball rolling on PMC Libya, I need the source files, possibly only the changed files so I can start to have some idea how to setup BMS theater. demer928, please send them to me privately, thanks. Quick summary post here about the core changes would be great for starters.

Some Key changes to LibyaALPHA:

1.New map from Dem2Terrain(same coord's)new Point Data
2.New Drainage Network,reduced the amount of bridges see above,eliminated most MOUNTAIN River's
3.New Tile's,tiling work ~90% done. Tiles are a mix of Original Korea,SM's Iran Tile's (with SM's permission) Old IT02 Tile's (with Ranger's permission) and New Custom Tile's,New .bin to support them.
4.New AB's type's\tile's ~20% done. Original Libya used the same 23_05 AB 2 rvr for ALL the AB's
5.Reduced the number of AB's,leaving those with Military significance
6.New te_new
7.A mini POC campaign to check for GU movement,ATO etc.
8..tac,.cam matched to BMS DB

Some other tweak's,hack,s I can't remember...LOL

I have now downloaded the private archive you sent to me. Its disturbing to see it balloon from 18mb to 562mb, but I guess its because all the useless files are packed there (some twice if I checked correct).

Will take some time to digest what's inside. Any further libya related details you can provide would be helpful, any generic BMS theater converting info would be appreciated in the other topic.

Glad to hear theater modding is moving foreward!

BTW having french CDG group in Libya mod DB would be great! :)
