Problem with F-16AGR in Freefalcon/RV

Hi all.
This has happened a couple of times now. I am editing the Nevada theater. I used a tcl script to add the F-16AGR to the campaign (using the definitions in the create.squadrons.tcl from Snakeman). The script crashes, it says it doesn't recognize the plane.

So, I go into Tacedit and manually add the plane.

When I start the campaign, the F-16AGR is not selectable by the player. However, it shows in the Tacedit units window, and it is also within the campaign...but it isn't selectable. In other words, the planes are in the campaign, they show on the airfield when I am in a different plane, the AI tasks and flies them, but the player cannot select them from the UI screen.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

hmm.. maybe it's not listed as flyable on teplane.lst?

You might also be having this problem that happened with the F/A-18G Growler in Allied Force in an early patch after LP added it into the sim "half-way":

Moved topic to more proper area. Quick hint; if the topic has anything to do with "editing" F4 (well theater related, which almost everything are), then it should be on Terrain area, if its just "playing" F4, then it should be in Falcon 4 general area :)

You need to use Tacedit or F4Browse to check the ID of this squadron type. Remember that SP4.2 database (to which my create.squadron is build) has different ID's as in RV database, same goes for F4AF too.
When I start the campaign, the F-16AGR is not selectable by the player.
Did you rebuild squadrons?

well this is a problem with teplane.lst. you can fly it in TEs but in campaign you can't join the squad. BUT they are flying AI controled around in campaingn


wait for FF5.... 8-)
