The "./dem2lf.pl -2 mymap.bin test" is a full command line that I used in Linux to run that Perl Script (dem2lf.pl file). If you're using windows, good luck because I have never used windows perl to this day so I cant help you.

You should get info on perl from www.perl.com there is help for running it in windows too.

No :)

Send me the excat LAT/LONG coordinates where you want this map to be created. then I download the DEM data, create map for you and add the L2 & O2 files to downloads here.

Also, you want terrain features? Please send me all the country names which are included in your terrain.

BTW as this windows perl thing has surfaced few times now, is anyone out there who is using windows perl, please give us some tips (I havent never used it).

I mean windows perl should work just witht he same parameters etc, but you need the perl software for win. in linux redhat it comes as default install.

btw I have the small TE map images for your Israel terrain, they are quite large (havent zipped them up, but I guess about 5megs). It they are not too big, I can send them to you?

hi man,
I NEED it, pliz build it for me.

now its 65% tiled. all West Falkland and 1/2 Lafonia area. will update l2 file when 1/2 East Falkland tiled.

BTW, Snake man, HOW MANY, or WHAT files should we build to complete a new, functional theater? I got no idea at this!
A list?
what I know is:

CCC, the Falklands TE map images are ready, you can download them at:
http://www.pmctactical.org/f4/downloads ... ds-RSC.zip
They were nice and zipped all the way down to 12kb.
Now you need to read the TE map image tutorial of how to build those terrdata\Falklands\files directory files correctly.

Enjoy.
