Later it was revealed that it was Israel who struck South Pars petrochemical facilities, not the United States.

One of the missiles failed in-flight and other was shot at by US warship (unknown intercept result). Iran Chabahar coastal city to Diego Garcia distance is 3,840 kilometers (KM).
This distance of 3,840km is enough to reach from Iran Tabriz city to United Kingdom London city. So missile such as this would cover the WHOLE EUROPE. However before EU countries residents start to run for the bomb shelters, we should calm down and wait for verification to this report, perhaps these ballistic missiles were just regular "2000km" range ones and they were shot down basically at the persian gulf iranian coastline.
