This distance of 3,840km is enough to reach from Iran Tabriz city to United Kingdom London city. So missile such as this would cover the WHOLE EUROPE. However before EU countries residents start to run for the bomb shelters, we should calm down and wait for verification to this report, perhaps these ballistic missiles were just regular "2000km" range ones and they were shot down basically at the persian gulf iranian coastline.

2026-04-03T23:42:27Z It was later confirmed that F-15E strike eagle was shot down in South West Iran at Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province. Combat Search and Rescue (CSAR) mission was launched, it succesfully rescue ONE crew member from the two seater F-15E, other crew members status was unknown without any word from the US administration (White House, Pentagon or CENTCOM). During the rescue operation A-10 "Warthog" Thunderbolt II ground attack aircraft crashed as well, its yet unknown if this A-10 crashed by accident or due enemy fire. A-10 pilot was rescued. The CSAR consisted of HC-130J Combat King II C-130 alike refuelling, command and control aircraft and two HH-60G Pave Hawk helicopters (modified UH-60 Blackhawks). According to unconfirmed reports both blackhawks took enemy ground fire and some of the crew members in at least one of the blackhawks were wounded.

2026-04-05T04:12:00Z US officials confirm, downed F-15E strike eagles Weapon Systems Officer (WSO) has now been rescued and is back in friendly territory. Combat Search And Rescue (CSAR) operation included two HC-130J Combat King II aircrafts which landed on central Iran on a makeshift Forward Arming and Refueling Point (FARP), unloaded MH-6 Little Bird helicopters for 160th SOAR. F-15E strike eagle WSO was wounded, hiked up 7000 feet tall mountain, took cover in a mountain cravis with locator beacon enabled which allowed US MQ-9 UAV's and other aircrafts to locate him. Then US air assets setup 3 kilometer radius perimeter around the WSO's location and killed every person who tried to move into that location. Vehicles on roads leading up to the area was also destroyed. Apparently a lot of ordnance (bombs) was dropped during the operation. A-10 "warthog" Thunderbolt II aircraft callsign SANDY were leading the rescue keeping contact with the WSO. Once WSO was in friendly hands, the extraction had an issue as the big fat HC-130J's could not take off as nose wheel got stuck in the wet sand of that makeshift FARP, so they had to call in two "dash 8" special forces aircrafts which loaded everyone in and flew them out. Then the two HC-130J's and MH-6 Little Birds were destroyed on the ground to not leave any sensitive technology in the hands of Iranians.
