PMC Poland Miroslawiec 40km x 40km terrain development.

Basically same plan as PMC Germany Landstuhl, PMC Poland Lask, PMC Poland Powidz, PMC Poland Poznan, PMC Poland Rzeszow and PMC Poland Swidwin terrains. This will be one of campaign hub terrains for the country of poland.

Google/maps location.

This air base is the NW region of poland and its used as american MQ-9 Reaper UAV drone base since may 2018.

PMC Poland Miroslawiec has now been binarized and awaits first arma3 in-game test.

Yesterday did a lot of work for PMC Poland Miroslawiec 40km terrain. Used global mapper for the usual OpenStreetMap (OSM) data shape files including PMC OSM Places CSV2HPP Converter tool, exported new heightmap, dreadful task of assigning RGB colors to OSM shape areas, etc.

Terrain processor generated forest vegetation objects using 4 x 4 grid tile setup shape files. Imported all of those into terrain builder which always takes a while. Created runway poly line shapes and merged them into roads.shp as usual.

L3DT edited heightmap to smooth out airfield runways so aircraft can land safely.

Global mapper generated new latitude / longitude config.cpp file values.

And finally got the whole terrain pboProject binarized. Was a great day of editing work.
