Wilbur is terrain editor, easy to use, light and simple enough.

Homepage here.

I have been using this tool a lot, you can create freehand terrain with it in few minutes, its especially easy to make OFP/ArmA terrains with this tool. There is also advanced features like fractal noise, erosion stuff etc.

When I create terrain I just choose the size of the terrain I want, then the 50 pixel brush and 5 meter elevation raise and start to paint away the terrain I want. At some point I click the sun icon to Relight the terrain so I can see contours better.

There is pages called Fun with Wilbur Volume 1 which explains how to create random generated terrain and apply erosion for it, very nice quick tutorials.

Wilbur does not "work for ArmA / OA" because it is not ArmA / OA tool, its generic tool which does what it does. Yes we can import its lat/lon terrain export file into WrpTool and visitor3.

How to run it? Well didn't I already explained the rough outline above post? Just choose save as Lat/Lon txt file, then load that to WrpTool/visitor 3.

There is more detailed tutorial how to create terrain for OFP (and works for ArmA/ArmA 2/OA also) in WrpTool manual.

PMC Editing Wiki: Wilbur page created with all our Wilbur tutorials and info pages gathered there.

Now that L3DT Serial Key Expired 2022 and its floating belly up and starting to stink, its great time to get back to the roots and continue (or start?) using Wilbur again.
