A-A Kill and A-G Kill counter not working

OK Guys ..... here is the problem.
I go into a campaign, any campaign for that matter, fly a mission, make lets say 3 A-A and 2 A-G kills - confirmed since I see them blow up properly.
I then exit the mission - normally.
As we know, once we exit a mission, we get the Statistics page that tells us about our kills .... A-A and/or A-G ....
thing is, the counter is not showing any kills for me ...... however, ehen I go the the "Event List" just above, and scroll down through all the actions for myself, I can clearly see it saying MiG-23 destroyed by so-and-so, MiG-21 destroyed by so-and-so .....
so it does list and recognize my A-A kills and same with A-G kills ...... however, the list on the lower half of the page that gives the stats for the flight ..... does not show any kills .... and I'm not talking about "damaged" aircraft or Ground targets, since those never show anyways .... I'm talking about confirmed Kills not being shown.
Any clues??
