how to defign a new forest?

Trying to use the forest defigner to make a custom forest, but it will only let me specify a name, and shape.
I can not type in a p3d, or fill.

Nothing in the manual, any hints?

You need to click on the p3d in the object browser, then the
->OB
button. Quite illogical eh ;D
