I cant test because dont have the time. However I would very much like to receive the added units information in text mode, for example;

tanker. 123, 456
carrier. 654, 321
etc

Meaning the ship unit name first and then X and Y coordinates. Or similar simple text list to create the TCL out of.

hi all,

i found a problem in my save2.cam file: on CHIAYI and HULAIEN are the F-16s stationed, but if i join a flight on taxi for example sometimes, my wingies are rolling down the runway with ~17KTS and stop on the end of runway. :cry:
that happens to all AC which want to start AFTER i entered the 3D world. i got these probs only on CHIAYI & HULAIEN. also tried it with other ACs on these Airbases.

any idea?

err .. sorry i don't know how to fix it.. will check it later.

my test are mostly in the air, few flights, no CTD.

the red air power is overwhelming. one or two blue airbase are down in first few hours.

the blue sides need more SAM. i noted only two high alt SAM. it should have 6-8 set patriot, covering all west of Taiwan. then, 20 sets of Hawk for low-medium. and last is low-very low layer with AAA, IRAAM, etc.

BTW - with so many red boats in strait - i noted something interesting.. the Sparviero small boat, an italian hydrofoil with otomat ASM, do attack other targets .. while check hostile land vehicles, i found an Otomat ASM is flying toward a target.. :shock: ya i knew f4 engine let ships attacking ships..yet it's cool to witness a rarely-seen missile model flying. the Otomat missle is modeled for Balkan theater back in SP3 era.

yes, we really need more SAMs, but i get CTDs most time when i add some.. (i set the flags to "parent" and "ordered" ==>40) or is this wrong?

please CCC try one of the F-16 sqads, to see if you are also getting this strange "wingies doesn't take off" sh!t.


and about Otomat, yeah you're right. it's pretty rare to see something like that!!!

FYI, i vaguely remember airbase 8-26 or 26-8 has some bug.. will test them later.

confirm - AI ac can not take off from ChiaYi AFB. i can take off there, the runway looks leveled. it could be some takeoff PT setting error in 8-26 AFB type.

Hualien aFB, AI ac can takeoff, no problem.

high way stripe 206 - try to join a flight of f18 from ramp/taxi, CTD.

highway strips are problematc in the combinations with (Ramp/Taxi starts)
i don't get CTD, but if i have set taxi and enter te the 3d world, my package was on ONE Point, so if you try to taxi, you explode.....

also level problem at Ching Chuan Kang Airbase! some objects would need some better positionign, because now are some ports not on the coast, they are ~1mile away from it... so does it work correctly if i drag
& drop them in the TacEdit map? i belive that, this way causes in CTDs.

i check the same 8-26 AFB in default korea theater, the pohang AFB. AI ac can take off and land there.. so.. the AFB objective data is ok.

hi guys, i tried some things, but again the same friggin results about CHIAYI AB. AI cannot take of from it, WHY?

SM - i don't think he can export text at this moment. it takes time.

btw if possible, use this pic for theater for the time being.. hope somebody can make a better one later.. ya you can type " need better gif for replacement! " on it.
