Now its time to close this thread, and move to 3D obj placement and campaign things..this thread closed!

What is the procedure for installing the Beta falklands release and do I need Balklans installed first and where do I get Balklans? And will any of this upset my current Korean Campaigns?

Yes you can install Balkans first, then Falkland. but it seems OK if Falkland go first too.

hey, feel free to generate a 128 basic beta for me

we've added several RN ships in SP4 DB, yet not enough for full operation (esp. the a/c part!)

Falklands SP3 basic v0.1 beta is now ready for you, just for fun.

Email me and I'll give you the link, the download size is 8.4mb

It has basic korean texture terrain (didn't even run different variations for it), one campaign (just to show something) and thats about it. Good platform for you to start fine tuning it. Ah, I think its time to retire now.

Let me know how the theater runs, installation instructions are in the .TXT file inside the zip.

i'll tweak visual part later, currently working on SP4 stuff, i mean everyday, 1.5 -2.5 hrs at least. Oh Man, its time to take a break, not retire. be patient, i hope SP4 could catch the 2003 spring offensive..over Iraq

incredible theater coverage, that 128 almost cover all Argentina land, and Chile! very promising for Arg vs Chile campaign too.

cool beta campagin, run smoothly for 30 mins.

runway on falkan island shows ladder effect.

airbase on Arg land is less than expected. could be added more later.

To sum up, a very nice starting point, i like it.

OT: if setting up a new basic theater takes only tens minutes.. a 64 or 128 Black sea coverage sounds pretty cool.. a direct challenge to LOMAC hehe (i keep filling DB with russian ships)..don't take it serious.

By the way, there was an article about the Tornado F3 detachement in AFM some months ago. There was picture of the runway system, hangars, etc on Stanley. If you want me to, I can look it up and send you something, CCC ?

no hurry, ship stuff keep me very buzy these weeks. i'll check Falkland stuff once some priorities done.

If that is the current RAF operating base in the Falklands, then it isnt Stanley.

ccc if you would like pics of Stanley airport during the war I am still friends with several Argentines who had relatives in the battle and have webistes and pictures of the battle, airbase, defensive positions, and ships in the war...
