Lone Wolf was kind enough to configure additional mod into the phpbb setup. Its improved new posts feature. You'll find it at the index page on top-right, the drop box that says "View all posts since:", when you click it you have tons of time frame options to choose from.

At least I personally find it useful since phpbb nukes those last read topic markers so franticly usually. Now I can easily see all posts from last day or 12 hours etc.

With the new phpbb3 upgrade, we have this view all posts since as in build in feature.

Check it out from the main index page: View active topics.

When you first view that active topics page, then scroll down bottom of that page and you'll find drop down menu for "Display posts from previous" and the drop down is for how many days you want to see topics.

Very nice feature if the forum software nukes your last read topics, or you just want to browse the activity in the forum.
