Campaign Fixes

Post by ranger822 » 2007-12-12 18:10:21

I am happy to announce Biker has been very busy on ITO2 campaigns for the RV-ITO2 release. As many of you who have taken the time to actually install and fly ITO2 will know, ITO2 does have some flaws. There is plenty to enjoy and plenty to improve.

The main goals of the campaign fixes are to ensure we have a win/lose possibility in ITO2 as well as to ensure units move as intended, objectives are properly linked, ATO works for all aircraft, and the terrain itself appears as built. All of these items above can be affected if the campaign or tac files have some problems.

Biker has made much progress and reports he has essentially fixed the Six Days War campaign to a point where we now have one fully functional campaign. His work continues on Yom Kippur and Shlom Hagalil.

In conjunction with the cam/tac file updates some other files will also be updated and as well as upgrades in the database for some aircraft (i.e. the Phantoms, Mig-21 cockpits as well as selected other cockpits.
