when i run the installer, and add the path to my F4 RV install, it keeps coming up with `incorrect path` quoted my `C` drive, when F4 RV is on my `F` drive?
any pointers please?

AFAIK ITO2 only works on FF3/Cobra install.. not RV-compatible yet.

CCC is correct - the ITO2 public release made at the start of the year was for FF3.1 + Cobra1.1.1. You would have to do quite a lot (I know since I just did it) to get it working in RV.
The RV-ITO is already running (on my computer). Everything works just as it did for Cobra if I make it a stand-alone install. However, FF Team hopes to follow Snakeman's File/Folder convention and hopefully implement theater swtiching. That is a WIP.
For my part, everything is done except for light tweaking the DXM models, replacing the new FF4 DXM models, and resolving the cockpit folder switching as it relates to RV-Korea.
The rest of ITO is complete and ready to go. I don't anticipate much beta testing for ITO. T-rex has indicated he doesn't want to release it until some retiling is done. Since T-rex is buidling the installer - he can release it as he likes, he is doing us all a favor building these installers.

CCC was correct - but not anymore. ITO is 100% compatible with RV, running well since end of September of 07. I expect the beta testing to be a rather short cycle before public release this year.
