CATE and villages

I already have a .csv file with villages (made with the village util). Every village has some values:

I changed the word "village" with the word "airbase". Is the .csv file OK now? Do I have to do other changes as well?


Now, in the CATE config file I defined only one type of airbase. Originally this looks like this:

AirbaseDef=1 0 -1 1 1 (01_19,05_23,32_14,34_16,36_18)
What I must change in the relative position of the first/last tile? :?: And for subtype? (the subtype of all villages is 20)

I only want to put a single city tile for every village... :roll:


Sorry for all the questions but I'm lost and I don't even know if my initial approach is right...

Skyfire was talking about the config file for CATE to make the changes in; not your TacEdit objectives.csv export file.

Doing what you did with changing the "village" to "airbase" in the objectives .csv file will not work. There is no direct relationship between the objectives (3D models) placed on the tiled terrain and the tiles themselves.

CATE is only working with placing the tiles onto the terrain mesh. What Skyfire meant was you define your village (or city) tile layout using the airbase method within CATE. If you village only consists of 1 tile then just define that one tile in the CATE config file. If it is a city consisting of 8 tiles then define those in the config file using the airbase method.

Sorry guys, I'm totally new to CATE... The problem is that I have all the villages in the .tdf called LABEL and I want to find a way to put at least a tile for every village... I'll try to define a tile in the config file and see if I can make it.
