FF5.5.3 Eurowar/op:Infinite Resolve cam test

Post by ccc » 2010-12-14 03:22:35

Another rough test. force sliders: default.
Blue force in DPRK land, Red in ROK/Japan. Blue side should take Pusan to win. Red side should capture Seoul+P'yongyang to win.

findings :
- Blue ac can dominate the sky easily. most red AB are disabled before Day 3. minimal Red air acitivites.
- Blue GUs move south smoothly - Red resistance is neutralized by GUs and A-10, easily. Blue ground posture is alternating between major offensive to Pohang and consilidation, sometimes aiming at Taeju.
- Blue GU spearhead slowed down and advancement stalled since Day 4. Blue armour and mechanized units moved first and captured half of ROK land.. then HQ unit moved to the front line, stopped there, then all GUs have no movement ( im running cam on Day 7). The roads and bridges are intact, blue GU condition is ok, ground op posture remains major offensive to Pohang, Red GUs are killed to minimal by my highjacked flights..but Blue GUs refuse to advance..or short of surplus units to move?
- the bordom hours is 360 and stalement event is 14 days..i'll check if Blue GUs can capture Pusan in the end.
- mirage2K-5, innerwing slots - when load with four mk82, it only shows one mk82, not four.

Is it "Euro war" or Euroear like you wrote? (if you spelled the topic name wrong, click the Edit button and fix it please).

Also is this objective look on the campaign with honest review, or are you trying to put it down somehow, I just want to be clear that nobody can jump into your topic (and therefore our forums) that "we" intentionally try to say negative things regarding anything about FreeFalcon?

1. typo fixed.

2. just objective look - i want to know if ground war AI can reach its goal. i spent 2-3 hours per night to join AA/AG flights in 3d world..
of course, i realize this cam probably not built by latest FF team members.. just to share my observation.

err.. sensitive? no.

the cam ran to Day 16. the clock kept running.

no GU movement since Day 7.. the ground war stalled - forever.

PS- Day 20, the same, ground war stalled. clock running.
