Panama Sampler Available!

I am pleased to announce, after more than two years and more than a couple start-overs, Panama Theater Sampler for SP3 is now available to download.

For your money (figure of speech - it's free) you'll get:

- Panama landscape which replicates the area of play from Falcon3.
- A theoretical working campaign "Just Cause 2" where the U.S. must fend off opposing forces from the C.A.L.A. in an attempt to remain in control of the Panama Canal.
- New background graphic of the SP user interface.
- Full Instant Action/Dogfight/TacEng options.

Please bear in mind this effort is wholly my own. I make no pretences about the theater being accurate or anything like that. All I set out to do was give myself and others the ability to revisit Central America and relive some of my Falcon3 days, and have a fast-moving campaign to play also.

The tiles used are all currently standard Korea tileset, and likewise all skins for the planes, etc. are all standard also. I don't have the graphic skills necessary to satisfactorily change these elements.

Please bear in mind also this is a Sampler - consider it a beta version for now. I still have plans for an updated tileset and improve the campaign, probably adding two more campaigns also. All I ask now is if you choose to download/install it, please take it for what it is. It is NOT Balkans, ODS, or Israel... you have been warned :)

Hi Malcolm

Only got round to D/L this today

Excellent work, thanks, also to all those who assisted.

Nice to be able to "get into things" in a couple hours instead of a couple days :) sometimes ...

I am sure that you will get the "skins" so on sorted out (I did not even notice, too busy enjoying the scenery!)

Regards - Rob
