What is your goal exactly? What do you want to see in which version? The RWR display is not AC specific...

Look Mystic_J had done a patch that eliminate the ability of the HAF F-16 blk52+ to have M when the aim 120 go active.. I want to know how to give back the ability to display the M symbol in RWR .. Which are the values via f4browse

In which version? Did you examine olnly the HAF F-16 blk52+? All other AC have to be suffered by the same effect. If your HAF F-16 blk52+ RWR does not show 'M' if an AIM-120 uses its own radar no one of AC will be different. What do you see insted 'M' in the pacth?

FF use this numbers to define RWR symbols for HSD/HAD and RWR instrument too. Likely other version use the same input.

SYMBOL NUMBER RWR DRAWS THIS
RWRSYM_NONE = 0,
RWRSYM_UNKNOWN = 1,

RWRSYM_HAWK = 5, H
RWRSYM_PATRIOT = 6, P
RWRSYM_SA2 = 7, 2
RWRSYM_SA3 = 8, 3
RWRSYM_SA4 = 9, 4
RWRSYM_SA5 = 10, 5
RWRSYM_SA6 = 11, 6
RWRSYM_SA8 = 12, 8
RWRSYM_SA9 = 13, 9

RWRSYM_SA13 = 15, 13
RWRSYM_AAA = 16, A
RWRSYM_SEARCH = 17, S
RWRSYM_NAVAL = 18, BOAT
RWRSYM_CHAPARAL = 19, C
RWRSYM_SA15 = 20, 15
RWRSYM_NIKE = 21, N
RWRSYM_A1 = 22, dot over A
RWRSYM_A2 = 23, 2 dots over A
RWRSYM_A3 = 24,
RWRSYM_PDOT = 25, dot over P
RWRSYM_PSLASH = 26, ! over P
RWRSYM_UNK1 = 27, U

RWRSYM_V21 = 41, 21
RWRSYM_V22 = 42, 22
RWRSYM_V23 = 43, 23
RWRSYM_V25 = 44, 25
RWRSYM_V27 = 45, 27

The Numbers 66 thru 99 can draw a letter based on the HEX value of the ASCII character.

In F4Browse this box define the HAD / HSD display.

For RWR instrument check the radtypes.lst file in simdata.zip. In \radar directory you can find radar dat files. The no. of line in Radtype.lst makes connection between simdata.zip and \terrdata\ojbject DB. For ex. check the Fan Song. It is the 39th in radtype.lst, it will be used for RCD39. RWR instrument uses the dat file. Radar can perfrom search, track, lock, ect. but symbols have to be the same for all. For Fan Song you can see this. If you check RCD39 you can see that RWR no. is 7.

Rwrsymbolsearch1 7
Rwrsymbolsearch2 7
Rwrsymbolsearch3 7
Rwrsymbolacuire 7
Rwrsymbolguide 7

These lines mean even you set good HSD / HAD sysmbol you can see different lables on you RWR.

You are the master....

Question can we have without exe edit more symbols in RWR or HSD....??

Also can we have template.te from saved TE .. that have preplaned ST in order to draw e.g boxes and squares which represents exersice areas ??.. i mean to have fixed ini/tac template with stable exersices areas in order to desplayed in HSD!!! and not to add them in every mission which we create ..
